Tarek Shamma is an Egyptian architect whose practice bridges legacy and innovation, always grounded in a profound respect for place.

A graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture, he refined his craft alongside Zaha Hadid and David Chipperfield before establishing his own studio in 2015.
Today, his work spans residences, hospitality, and bespoke design, each project conceived as a living object, purposeful and attuned to its environment.

Named to the AD100 list in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and honoured as Designer of the Year by Condé Nast H&G, his studio continues to explore architecture as both discipline and devotion, where beauty follows logic and presence invites reflection.
