MARTHE was founded in 2022 by Marthe Simon and Paul Peller, following their collaboration for Design Parade, the event organized by Villa Noailles in Hyères. Their project L’Oursinade won the Public Prize, immediately revealing the precision and poetry of their shared vision.

Trained at Penninghen and formerly at Luis Laplace’s studio, Marthe brings a refined sensitivity to materials, light and detail. Paul, trained as an engineer, complements this intuitive approach with strong technical expertise, on-site knowledge and a sharp sense of coordination.

Driven by imagination, a love of the past and a deep appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship, the duo creates interiors that play with established codes. Their work brings together heritage and modernity, tradition and innovation, shaping spaces that feel both lived-in, sensitive and timeless.

MARTHE is particularly drawn to objects that carry a sense of time — pieces that reveal craftsmanship, precision and a devotion to beauty, technique and the human hand. From its early days, the studio was named by AD Magazine as one of the ten young interior architecture practices to watch. Since then, Marthe Simon and Paul Peller have completed numerous high-end residential and hospitality projects in France and abroad.
