On the occasion of the centenary of the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, Pierre Marie Studio was invited to take part in Les Nouveaux Ensembliers at the Mobilier National.
The studio imagined the bedroom of a visiting Head of State within a French embassy, a formal yet intimate setting that reflects on the symbols of power through the language of decoration. Bringing together its distinctive use of ornament and colour with the exceptional expertise of French artisans, the project creates a contemporary dialogue between heritage and the future of the decorative arts.
