For the new suites at Tuba in Marseille, Marion Mailaender extends the hotel’s relaxed Mediterranean spirit with her signature mix of humour, nostalgia and effortless style.

Set in Les Goudes, facing the sea, the project builds on the identity she originally created for Tuba: a contemporary take on the Marseille cabanon, rooted in local memories, maritime references and the raw beauty of the Calanques. Natural materials, retro details, soft colours and playful seaside touches shape interiors that feel both simple and highly personal.

Through these new suites, Marion Mailaender reinforces Tuba’s unique atmosphere — somewhere between a coastal hideaway, a friend’s holiday house and a modern Mediterranean retreat.
