Paris Nord

In her Paris apartment, Marion Mailaender offers a vivid expression of her instinctive and irreverent design language.

Rather than recreating a conventional Parisian interior, she embraces the building’s late-1960s identity and transforms it into a personal playground of references, materials and memories. White Briare enamel tiles, vintage pieces, contemporary art and bold design objects come together in a space that feels both intimate and highly expressive.

The apartment reflects many of the themes that define Marion Mailaender’s work: a strong connection to Marseille, a taste for Italian design, a love of humour and an ability to turn everyday references into unexpected design gestures. Gio Ponti, Memphis Milano, Sophie Calle, Amélie Pichard and Emmanuel Picault all appear, directly or indirectly, as part of a creative world shaped by encounters, intuition and freedom.

Through this project, Marion Mailaender reveals the deeply personal side of her practice, where memory, popular culture, art and design coexist in a joyful and singular vision of contemporary interiors.
