For the iconic Ken Club in Paris, Marion Mailaender and Rodolphe Parente reinterpret the spirit of the legendary 1985 club through a bold and contemporary approach to architecture and design.

Once a defining meeting point for sport, music and social life, the club retains its unmistakable 1980s energy while embracing a new spatial identity. Colour, graphic forms, expressive materials and bespoke design elements shape a dynamic sequence of spaces, balancing movement, circulation and moments of pause.

The project brings together playful references to the club’s original character with contemporary architectural interventions and carefully selected furniture, creating a layered environment where architecture and design work as one. Rather than reproducing the past, Marion Mailaender and Rodolphe Parente translate its vibrant visual language into a distinctly contemporary Parisian setting.
