For Day Bed at La Cour Jardin, the iconic courtyard of the Plaza Athénée palace in Paris, Uchronia creates an installation that is both bold and poetic, transforming an oversized bed into a surreal design statement.

Imagined especially for the hotel, the piece reinterprets the codes of the traditional bed with exuberance, combining maximalism, playful forms and assertive detailing. Dressed in a palette of lush greens and vibrant reds, it reflects Uchronia’s expressive and theatrical design language.

Created in collaboration with artisan manufacturer Tréca, the installation brings together Palet’s vivid ceramic tiles, refined fabrics by Le Jacquard Français and floral textiles by MISIA. Chrome accents catch the natural light of the courtyard, giving the work a dreamlike quality between functional design and pure imagination.
