For Au Petit Rennemoulin, Studio Akademos transforms an 18th-century pink granite house on Brittany’s Emerald Coast into an elegant seaside guesthouse.

Just steps from the beach, the project reinterprets coastal living through the studio’s distinctive language of glossy lacquered wood, mirrors, stainless steel and bespoke furniture. Inspired by the atmosphere of 1940s and 1950s yachts, the interiors evoke the feeling of a refined boat at sea, with custom details, nautical references and a warm sense of escape.

Across three bedrooms and their bathrooms, Akademos creates a luxurious yet intimate retreat where maritime imagination, craftsmanship and nostalgic glamour come together in a distinctly contemporary way.
