Paragone presents at Design Miami / Paris a commission to Edgar Jayet, supported by Maison Lelièvre. Following his vision, Edgar Jayet pays homage to Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann’s iconic Pavilion of the Collector from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs de 1925.
Pursuing the legacy of the Art Deco, the studio reimagines the intimacy of a collector’s dressing room — a refined universe where each piece of their newest collection, from the cabinet to the trunks and the daybed, embodies an art of living rooted in the elegance of the French art de vivre.
Under the same modus operandi as Ruhlmann, Le Bain du Collectionneur was made with the support and the maestra of six of the most exceptional French ateliers. The project celebrates this excellence of fine craft and the living heritage of the French savoir-faire along with artoworks from galerie Dina Vierny and galerie Chenel enhanced with the collections of Puiforcat and Saint-Louis.
